Sidi Bou Said

The city of Sidi Bou Said is located north of the Tunisian capital. The whole city is located on a steep cliff, which overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. The view of Sidi Bou Said is absolutely phenomenal, and will continue to amaze you throughout your trip. Medina of Tunis

It is the richness of its history that gave this 12th century city its traditional character and modern at a time. Originally, it was a small town built by the Berbers. Near the Gulf of Tunis on the Mediterranean coast, it becomes a thriving market town from the thirteenth century.
